For many companies, improving the efficiency of indoor lighting simply means retrofitting outdated systems with high-intensity driving (HID) or electronic ballast fluorescent lighting. While both are more efficient than incandescent bulbs, neither solution offers great savings when connected to standard power sources. To increase efficiency, we use the principle of wave-form modification. Using this technology, peak voltage remains intact…causing the fixtures to “think” they’re receiving the same amount of power with little or no discernable change in light levels. Best of all, sine wave modification also cools bulbs and ballasts, doubling their lifespan and dramatically reducing replacement and maintenance costs.
