John Glorioso works with Energy Edge as Senior Project Manager and Engineer. Since the 1970’s John has developed and implemented several environmental and energy conservation projects and has extensive experience with manufacturing and commercial facilities.
John is also an expert in lighting systems and controls and has performed highly successful projects for several well known customers such as FedEx, Macy’s and Pepperidge Farm.
In addition to strict energy efficiency work, John has applied his engineering expertise to designing and managing the construction and start up of several municipal sludge drying plants. These multi-million dollar processing plants were all commissioned on schedule and under budget and all passed strict performance guarantees for production and fuel and electric energy use.
John has obtained 11 Patents thus far in his career. One of the patents has been assigned to Waste Management, Inc. after the successful installation and commissioning of the largest heat drying municipal sludge plant in the world which is now operated by Waste Management as New York Fertilizer Company.
John has a degree in Industrial Engineering from Waterbury State in Waterbury, CT and is a certified professional in Material Management by the International Material Management Society.
